Toolkit helps councils measure support for carers
27 April 2007
A new toolkit is available to help councils take a balanced
approach when assessing how well they support carers.
It aims to help councils measure a range of activities rather
than relying solely on one performance indicator (C62).
The toolkit was developed by four councils recognised as beacons
of good practice by central government.
We also worked on the toolkit along with Carers UK and the
carers' leads at the Association of Directors of Adult Social
Services.
