Independence, wellbeing and choice inspections (IWC) help us
assess how well a council is delivering social care services.
The tables below show the inspection programme which covers the
period from August 2007 to March 2009. The programme for April
2009 onwards will be added as soon as it is finalised.

We do not have a ‘rolling programme’ of inspections
covering all councils, so not all councils will be in the
programme. Councils are selected for inspection during their annual
performance assessment
