I know the name of the care service I'm looking but I can’t
find the report. Can you help?
When you enter in the name of the care home or service, make
sure that the name is spelled correctly and any spaces in the name
are in the right place.
If the care home is called The Lime Trees, for example, try to
search for Lime, rather than the full name, or try a slightly
different spelling. You could also try to search around the
postcode.

How can I find out if there is a more recent report than the
one on the website?
After we have carried out an inspection, the report will be
published about 8 to 10 weeks later. If you want to check if a
report is on its way contact us and we
will let you know when it's due to be published.

Why are there no children’s services reports on the
website?
All children’s services have now been transferred to Ofsted.
There are some exceptions:
- Some care homes for younger adults which accommodate older
chidren in transition to adulthood or for emergerncy or respite
care
- domiciliary care services used by childen and young people
- further education colleges registered as care homes
(also known as independent specialist colleges).
We still regulate and report on these services.
