Information for councils

A council buildingInformation for councils about how we inspect their care services.

What we do

Our job is to make social care services better for the people who use them.

One of the ways we do this is to inspect and report on councils who commission and provide social care services for people.

If you work for a council you can find information in this section about how we inspect and rate council care services.
