Lucille helps us to user-test the old websiteToday CSCI launches its new website designed to give the public better information on choosing the right care for them.

We have involved people who use services at every step of the way during the design of our new website.

The website features advice on how to choose and pay for care and useful checklists to help people find the right care service for them.

Information for service providers and councils has been put in a section called care professionals and is linked to from the front page of the website.

People over the age of 65, people with learning and physical disabilities and family members and carers tried out the website in its early stages.

Their input helped us make sure the website is easy to use for people with a range of different abilities and experience.

Our web team also worked with experts in the field of accessibility including the RNIB, Mencap and the Plain English Campaign.
